Adamello Brenta National Park
Trentino’s largest protected area
A park of contrasts
Established in 1967, it is the largest protected area in Trentino covering a total of 618 square kilometres. Located in west Trentino in the Valli Giudicarie between the Valle di Non and the Valle di Sole, the Park encompasses two geologically distinct areas boasting two completely different and beautiful landscapes:
- the Brenta Dolomites to the east
- and the granite Adamello-Presanella alps to the west.
Its treasures
During your holiday in Molveno you will see how the lake highlights the Dolomites that rise up majestically in front of you. Mountain excursions of extraordinary beauty are guaranteed thanks to Lake Molveno and the Dolomites, with crystal-clear alpine lakes where you can relax and breathe in the pure mountain air.
The wildest corners of the Adamello Brenta National Park can be accessed by several adjacent valleys. Walking slowly and quietly, with a little patience you may spot cute squirrels, chamois antelope, deer and roe deer, badgers, foxes, lynxes or eagles.
